Classic spray tan wants 8 to 12 hours. Rapid is the 1 to 3 hour rinse for when the timeline is rude. Toasted Tans books both. This is how to pick without guessing in a hotel bathroom.
If you can, book classic 48 to 72 hours before photos. Color settles. You have a night to sleep in it. You rinse in the morning, moisturize, and do not think about DHA during hair and makeup. That is the clean version. It works for brides in Columbia suites, Spring Hill houses, and Leiper’s Fork cottages who still have a calendar with space. Weekday classic before 6 PM is $65. After 6 and weekends it is $75.
Rapid is $75 weekday before 6, $85 after hours. You spray, you wait 1 to 3 hours, you rinse, you get dressed. Use it for rehearsal dinners, same-day portraits, and the bridesmaid who landed late. It is not a worse tan. It is a faster develop. You still need prep. You still need dark clothes. You still should not sweat through a first look in the develop window if you can help it. If the only slot is the afternoon of, rapid is how you do not walk in pale.
Parties of five or more get the bridal package at $60 a person and the bride comps. That is a two-hour slot so we are not rushing ten robes through a tent in a driveway off Hillsboro. Three to four people are $60. Stack the party at the house, the Airbnb, or the suite. One mix family so the lineup does not look like five different honeymoons. Flash photography on the Franklin square is unkind to mismatched legs.
Where we set up. Garage, patio, spare bedroom with an outlet, level yard. The Norvell tent is the room. We have done bridal suites and we have done a carport in Thompson’s Station with the dogs shut in the house. Tell us about white carpet. Tell us about HOA rules in Cool Springs apartments. Tell us if hair and makeup is already in the kitchen. We will pick a corner that is not their corner.
Prep still matters on wedding week. Exfoliate the night before, not the morning of if you are already raw from nerves. Skip lotion the day of the tan. Shave early. Bring the gown color if you want the mix matched to wardrobe, especially if the dress is ivory and you were thinking about going very deep. Deep is fine. Orange is not. Evie mixes to skin, not to a Pinterest slider.
Aftercare between the rinse and the aisle. Moisturize. Avoid a long hot shower the morning of if you rinsed the night before. Do not experiment with a new scrub. If you have a hotel pool situation the night before in Cool Springs, skip the swim. If you have a first look in humidity on Main Street, blotting is better than rubbing.
