Columbia is where Toasted Tans starts the van. Evie mixes color in your driveway, not in a booth off the bypass. If you live near the Maury County Courthouse, along West 7th, or in the houses behind Garden Street, the tent is already in the neighborhood. Bear Creek Pike, Trotwood Avenue, and Nashville Highway are regular stops. You do not need a salon parking space. You need a little floor, an outlet, and twenty minutes of patience while we set up.

Downtown Columbia still runs on a square. James K. Polk Home tourists walk past the same brick you drive by on the way to work. We tan brides staying in historic houses off West 7th and kids getting ready for Central High homecoming without hauling a garment bag across town. Ridley Park, Maury County Park, and the fields off James Campbell Boulevard are where family photos happen. Pale legs in those pictures are optional. A custom mix at the house is easier than a UV bed and a hope.

Mule Day weekends fill every inn and every cousin's guest room. If you want color before the parade, book early and tell us which side of town. We can set up in a garage on Industrial Park Drive, a patio off Zion Road, or a spare bedroom in the apartments near Columbia State. Gravel is fine. Carpet is not our favorite, which is why the tent has a floor. You stay in a robe. We handle the mist.

Columbia has walk-in spray booths if you want to drive to one. That is not this. Toasted Tans is 100 percent mobile. Classic color develops 8 to 12 hours. Rapid rinses in 1 to 3 hours when rehearsal dinner is the same night. Weekday singles before 6 PM are $65. Rapid is $75. Groups of three or four are $60 a person. Five or more drop to $55, or $60 on bridal and pageant packages where the bride or queen comps. After 6 PM and weekends add $10 except Unlimited Glow.

Prep is the same here as in Spring Hill. Exfoliate the night before. Skip lotion, deodorant, and makeup the day of. Dark loose clothes after. We send the same PDFs we use on every book. If you are on the water at the Duck River or sweating through a Mule Day grandstand, aftercare matters more than the brand on the bottle. Moisturize. Skip long hot showers when you can. Chlorine will eat the tan faster than church on Sunday.
