Stage lights eat pale skin. They also eat orange. What you want is depth that still looks like skin in the holding room and on the walk. Toasted Tans mixes pageant color in a tent at your house in Columbia, Spring Hill, Franklin, and the rest of Maury and Williamson. We are not a pageant authority with trophies on a shelf. We are a mobile artist who has heard enough about call times to plan around them.
Lights flatten. A mix that looks rich in a bedroom mirror can disappear under LEDs. We go deeper than a Tuesday tan and we still mix to you, not to a bottle labeled competition. Bring the suit or gown color if you can. Ivory, gold, and neon all read differently against bronze. If you have a talent costume with a different neckline, say so. We tan for the stage you are actually walking, not a generic glow.
Timing. Classic 8 to 12 hours is cleaner if your call time allows a night. Rapid 1 to 3 hours is there when the schedule is the same day. Rapid is $75 weekday before 6, $85 after hours. Pageant packages of five or more are $60 a person with the queen comped. If it is just you, it is a single at $65 or rapid at $75 before 6. Premium at $80 if you want hydration or extra contouring in the mix. After 6 and weekends add $10 except Unlimited Glow.
Prep for stage is less forgiving than prep for a cookout. Exfoliate well, especially legs, arms, and the back if the suit shows it. Skip lotion. Skip deodorant that will streak a strap. Dark loose clothes after. Do not test a new razor the morning of. Do not layer a drugstore mousse on top of our mix because you got scared in the hotel. Where we set up on pageant weeks. Houses off Bear Creek Pike, Spring Hill subdivisions, Franklin homes that are closer to the venue than a salon appointment. Hotel rooms are tight. A suite with an outlet can work. A shared hotel hallway cannot. The tent needs floor. If you are staying in Cool Springs the night before a Nashville-adjacent competition, tell us the building rules. We will not spray a corridor.
After you rinse, moisturize and stop touching it. Stage makeup is the makeup artist’s job. The tan is ours. Do not scrub in a panic. Do not apply oil that will flash in lights. If you have multiple days of competition, plan the tan for the first photos you care about and use aftercare to hold it. Hydration boost +$20 on the appointment. Extender kit +$30 if you want product in the bag. Neither one is a trophy.
What we will not claim. We will not list titles we did not win. We will not invent a pageant staff. Evie is the artist. Maury and Williamson is the map. If your competition is outside that pair of counties, ask when you book. Far pins can be quoted. We do not pad this page with counties we dropped.
