Classic color develops 8 to 12 hours. Do not get the tan wet. No sweat-soaked workout. No pool. No long shower. Sleep in loose dark sheets if you can. Then rinse with water only. No soap on the first rinse. Pat dry. Moisturize.
Rapid is built for a short window. Rinse in 1 to 3 hours. Same first-rinse rule: water, no scrub. Rapid is $75 weekday before 6, $85 after 6 or weekends. Details on rapid spray tan.
Moisturize every day. Dry skin sheds color. Use a simple, oil-light lotion. Skip anything with mineral oil if it leaves you slick. After showers, lotion while skin is still a little damp.
Keep showers short and lukewarm. Hot water and harsh soap strip DHA. Chlorine at the Spring Hill and Columbia pools will fade you faster. Rinse after a swim and lotion again.
Skip long baths, saunas, and scrub mitts. Let the tan fade even. When it is time to take it off, exfoliate. Do not pick at it.
